It was originally the luxurious mansion of Emperor Qianlong's favored courtier He Yue. When Emperor Jiaqing raided his home, the family's wealth was worth about 200 million taels of silver, equivalent to half a year's income of the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, there is a saying that goes, 'When Heshen fell, Jiaqing was full.'. In the late Qing Dynasty, Prince Gong Yixun became the third generation owner of the mansion and changed its name to the Prince Gong's Mansion, earning the historical reputation of "a Prince Gong's Mansion, half of the Qing Dynasty history".
16: Visit the Temple of Heaven Park at 00 (approximately 1.5 hours, including package tickets). The Temple of Heaven Park is located in the southeast of the former outer city of Beijing, directly south of the Forbidden City and east of the Zhengyang Gate. It was first built in the 18th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1420) and was a place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped the heavens in ancient China.
