Chinese Kung Fu

Chinese Kung Fu, also known as Chinese Wushu, is a valuable cultural heritage accumulated by the Chinese people over a long period of time. The techniques of Chinese Kung Fu cover boxing, sword, knife, gun, stick, etc., and each weapon has its own unique moves and usage. Shaolin Kung Fu refers to the traditional cultural system formed in the specific Buddhist cultural environment of Songshan Shaolin Temple, based on the belief in the divine power of Buddhism, fully embodying the wisdom of Buddhist Zen Buddhism, and taking the martial arts practiced by Shaolin monks as the main form of expression.
It is known for its strong and powerful, versatile moves, and emphasizes both internal and external training, balance of yin and yang, and rigidity and flexibility. It not only focuses on the mastery of punching and kicking, but also emphasizes the overall improvement of physical, mental and moral qualities.
There are many Shaolin Kung Fu styles, including Shaolin Long Fist, Shaolin Baton Technique, Shaolin Sword Technique, etc., each of which contains a profound philosophy of attack and defense. Its unique training methods, such as standing stakes and foundation work, are designed to cultivate a solid foundation and a resilient will.

 

Tai Chi
Tai Chi is famous for its unique philosophical ideas, technical methods and fitness effects. It is centered on the dialectical concepts of Taiji and Yin-Yang in the philosophy of Confucianism and Taoism, and combines the changes of Yin-Yang and Five Elements, the meridian science of Chinese medicine, the ancient guiding art and the art of vomiting, to form a Chinese boxing art.
Tai Chi moves softly and slowly, focusing on body relaxation and natural movement, avoiding over-exertion or stiffness. Taijiquan not only focuses on the external boxing moves, but also emphasizes the internal cultivation , such as the guidance of ideas and the coordination of breathing. Tai Chi not only has the effect of strengthening the body, but also regulates the body and mind and improves the temperament, which is an important part of Chinese culture. In recent years, Taijiquan has been inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.


Wing Chun (Wing Tsun)
Wing Chun, originating from the Southern School of Chinese Martial Arts, is famous for its unique "inch strength" power generation and close-quarter short-strike techniques. Inch Power is a short and explosive power that can deliver a powerful killing force within a short distance.
Wing Chun emphasizes the use of softness to overcome hardness, avoiding the real and striking the virtual, and achieving the effect of overcoming the enemy through fast and flexible hands and strict defensive counterattack strategies. Wing Chun is not only a martial art skill, but also a cultural phenomenon and the embodiment of philosophical thinking. It contains a wealth of traditional Chinese cultural elements, such as yin and yang, the five elements, the unity of mankind and other philosophical ideas.
In addition, Wing Chun also emphasizes both internal and external training, through the practice of which not only can improve physical fitness, but also cultivate the psychological qualities of calmness, boldness, flexibility and adaptability. Nowadays, Wing Chun has been widely spread around the world, and has become the object of study and research for many martial arts enthusiasts.

 

Bagua palm/Bagua Zhang
Bagua Palm is one of the famous traditional Chinese martial arts, widely spread and loved by martial arts enthusiasts.
It originated in the late Qing Dynasty, because it is crisscrossing the movement, divided into four positive and four corners of the eight directions.
It is similar to the trigrams in the Eight Trigrams diagram of "Zhouyi", so it is called the Eight Trigrams(Bagua) Palm.
Bagua Palm to palm changes and walking steps and turns as the main feature, the movement of the body as flexible as a swimming dragon, palm changes and powerful. Emphasizing both internal and external cultivation, it not only has the effect of strengthening the body, but also cultivates the skills of offense and defense combat. Nowadays, Bagua Palm has been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage, and its influence and value have been widely recognized.
