This tour, starting with breakfast in the morning light and ending with the return journey at sunset, is full of both natural and cultural charms. The magnificent scenery of the Seven Star Mountain is breathtaking, while the ancient flavor of Tusi City makes you feel as if you have traveled back in time. You can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery, but also deeply experience the local cultural characteristics.
Take a bus to the national 4A level scenic spot, the holy land of the Tujia people's hearts - the Tusi City. It is located south of the Tianmen Gate and north of the Lishui River. The last Tusi of Yongding, Qin Chunyi, was granted the hereditary title of "Thousand Generals" by the court and has a history of nearly 300 years. It is the only well preserved ancient city in the southwest region. Tusi City covers an area of over 120 acres, integrating a group of hanging foot buildings and a group of walking horse corner buildings. It is the birthplace and gathering place of ancient Tujia civilization. There are a large number of precious cultural relics remaining in the city, known as the 'Southern Forbidden City'. In 2002, the architectural wonders of "Nine Heavens Hanging Foot Tower" and "Thousand Person Maogusi" were both included in the Guinness World Records. In 2003, it was listed as a national AAAA level scenic spot and Zhangjiajie tourism boutique route. It is a must visit place for national leaders and artists who come to Zhangjiajie for inspection. After visiting the Tusi City, many experts and scholars expressed their feelings of 'not being able to go to Tusi City and not understanding the Tujia people'.
