Fenghuang Ancient Town

Fenghuang Ancient Town, is a typical minority settlement consisting of 28 ethnic groups including Miao, Han and Tujia. It was founded in the Tang Dynasty, more than 1,300 years ago.

The architectural style of Fenghuang Ancient Town is full of rich Xiangxi characteristics of stone streets, green stone boardwalks and hanging footstools. You can take a boat on the Tuojiang River slowly through the footstools on both sides of the river to feel the local ethnic customs.

Opening Time: All day

Ticket: Tickets to Fenghuang Ancient City cost 148 RMB /person and are valid for three days. If you only plan to visit the ancient city for one day, you can purchase a single day ticket for 80 RMB/person.
