Lingyin Temple

Lingyin Temple, facing Feilai Peak, has a history of more than 1,600 years and is the largest jungle temple in Hangzhou, as well as one of the top ten ancient temples in China. According to "Lingyin Temple Records", the Indian monk Huili traveled here, saw the beautiful landscape and thought it was a place where "the immortal spirit was hidden", so he built a temple here and named it "Lingyin".
