Qiao Family Courtyard

Qiao Family Courtyard, a Qing Dynasty residential complex full of history and cultural heritage. It was the residence and private garden of Qiao Zhiyong, a famous merchant in the Qing Dynasty. The compound was built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and after many expansions and repairs, it finally formed the grand scale we see today. The Qiao Family Residence covers a vast area and has a rigorous architectural layout, reflecting the unique style of northern residential architecture of the Qing Dynasty, and is known as "a pearl of northern residential architecture".
The Qiao Family Courtyard is not only a treasure house of architectural art, but also a temple of folklore. The unique architectural style and exquisite carvings in the compound, whether brick, wood or stone carvings, show the high skills of ancient craftsmen.
